Every project starts with an inquiry. Once I review your idea, references, placement, and overall goals, I’ll decide whether the project requires a consultation before booking or if we can proceed directly to scheduling the session.
Consultations are used to discuss the concept, placement, sizing, artistic direction, and any technical considerations related to the tattoo.
Consultations can be done either in person or online, depending on the project and what is most practical. While I generally prefer in-person consultations whenever possible, online consultations are also available and can work perfectly well for many projects.
The goal of the consultation process is to make sure both the client and I are aligned before moving forward with the tattoo.
I understand that some clients may expect to see the final design before the appointment. However, after years of experience, I’ve found that the best way to achieve the strongest final result is to develop and refine the design together on the day of the session.
This approach allows for immediate adjustments, better flow with the body, and a more collaborative process overall. It also avoids excessive revisions that can interfere with the creative process and the quality of the final piece.
For more complex projects, I may prepare sketches or composition studies in advance when necessary. This decision is entirely at my discretion and based on what I believe will produce the best tattoo possible.
The tattoo process will only begin once both the client and I are confident in the final design direction. Small adjustments can always be made on the day to ensure the best possible result.
In the rare event that the design requires major refinement before proceeding, the appointment may be rescheduled to allow further development.
However, major concept changes, changes of mind, or requests that significantly differ from the original consultation may require a new booking fee and a new appointment.
I also reserve the right to refuse projects that I do not feel comfortable executing, whether for artistic, technical, or personal reasons.
Tattoo pricing will vary depending on factors such as size, placement, level of detail, style, skin condition, and overall project complexity.
For larger or multi-session projects, maintaining a consistent schedule is highly recommended to ensure better healing, flow, and overall consistency throughout the piece.
If shorter sessions or spaced appointments are necessary for financial reasons, this can usually be accommodated during the booking process.
Please make sure the project aligns with your budget before booking. If needed, feel free to ask about possible payment options or installment arrangements for larger projects.
A $200 booking fee is required to secure your appointment.
The booking fee will be deducted from the final session cost.
Booking fees exist to secure dedicated time in my schedule and ensure commitment from both sides throughout the process.
A minimum of 7 days’ notice is required to reschedule an appointment.
Booking fees secure dedicated time in my schedule and cover planning and administrative costs. Because of this, they are non-refundable in the event of late cancellation, rescheduling, or no-show.
Major design changes may require the appointment to be rescheduled and a new booking fee paid.
If the appointment gets cancelled within this period, the booking fee will be respectfully converted into fish & chips and a lemon, lime & bitters at the nearest pub.
